My husband always teases me that I would cover the
entire house with beadboard if I could 🙂
That’s how serious the love is.
So I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about what exactly I want
this little room to look and feel like.
I absolutely LOVE the wide plank treatment.

I normally default to vertical lines… but these horizontal planks have me hooked.
The Lettered Cottage seems to always capture this look fantastically.
They have me in awe with some of their redo’s.
So my 2nd option is to do a simpler board and batten treatment like these :
The second option would be much easier, and cheaper, and quicker to install.
But, I just can’t seem to shake the horizontal plank look.

I LOVE both! I think you’d be able to use both treatments in your home somewhere. I have one wall in my family room that is horizontal planks with a pickled finish, and it is stunning!
