Hello Friends! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend! We had a great time with family, enjoying the long weekend being lazy, and eating far too much food! I just wanted to pop in today and show you a new antique tool caddy I picked up back in the beginning of the season. We have a sweet little barn shop down the road from us, that opens just about every other weekend in the summer. The cutest old couple that runs it, and they fill it to the brim from their lifetime hobby of collecting! They are my go to place when I have a certain antique piece in mind. My crates that hold our shoes in the kitchen, I found there. It’s a sweet little spot and it’s just around the corner. I spotted this tool caddy there last year, and sadly I didn’t grab it. So this past spring when they first opened up, I made sure to stop by and thankfully it was still there!
If you follow me on Instagram I shared a quick peak at it just after I go it on the buffet in our dining room. And if you caught my summer home tour you may have noticed it on the dining room table. It’s the perfect size, and has a great patina of old wood. I filled it with some of my favorite accessories. A milk glass vase holding antique silverware, sea shell napkin rings, white candles, and a few other accessories.
It fits in the middle of our table perfectly, and provides a perfect spot for some things I like to have handy when entertaining. My favorite detail though has to be the worn in handle in the middle of the tool box. It provides a simple decor in between holiday tablescapes.

Where did you get your dining room curtains? I have an accent wall painted in the Iron Ore and have been looking everywhere for the perfect curtains to tie everything together. ๐

HI Angie, I made them years ago. They have totally stood the test of time, I’ve had them for almost 10 years, and still love them ๐ I got the fabric from Pottery Barn, and they no longer carry it :/ Thanks for stopping by!
