A dream come true…

I know I don’t normally post on a Sunday, or typically over the weekend for that matter, but something amazing happened this weekend, and I was too excited to wait until Monday to share 🙂 In life we all have dreams and goals and aspirations. The “what if’s” and “wouldn’t be cool if” but I think sometimes we shoot those dreams down before we even give them a chance to grow. While we would all love things to miraculously happen over night, rarely is it the case that things happen that way. We hope and we plan and we dream, and pray for those “what – if’s” to become a reality. I don’t think I was ever mentally prepared for how much work would go into growing this blog, or my business. There was times where I just wanted to throw in the towel. Close the computer and never open it again to do work. There were months were it was so quiet I wondered if things would ever take off, if I would ever get an opportunity to make a name for myself. So many times I told myself just keep at it and one of these days your break will come. And you have no idea how many times in my moment of wanting to give up, one of you would leave me a comment telling me how much you were inspired by what I did, and encouraged me to keep going, that at least someone out there heard me, and was inspired by what I loved to do. Little by little this blog grew, and so did my business. And then that magical moment, that once in a lifetime opportunity comes along.
