I am so excited to be joining up with some of my favorite friends to share our fall vignette’s, and a free printable for you to use in your home too! Last years was so much fun, so I’m so glad we are back at it again! It’s always so fun to see what everyone comes up with. And while you’ll have to wait until next week for the full Fall Home Tour, I’m so excited to give you a sneak peak today! I also shared some very exciting news yesterday. A rare Sunday post, but it has been a long time dream of mine, and a true honor to share it with all of you. So in case you missed it, click here to catch the news, and of course, we will be right here waiting for you with all of our fall inspiration. Ok but first things first – I don’t know what the temperature is like where you are, and if you live in the south this probably won’t apply, but it has been hot here. And even though this isn’t totally unreasonable for us, I am so over 90 degree days, and the humidity! Thankfully our mornings have been in the 60’s so getting my first pumpkin spice latte this past Friday didn’t seem totally bizarre. But I was craving one, and just couldn’t wait. I feel a little more ansy for fall to start this year, than I think in years prior, so hopefully todays post will take the edge off. At least for me anyways 😛Â
This year for fall I wanted to embrace as much of nature as I possibly could. I had picked up a cute, new, long, rectangle frame from from Micheal’s over the summer, and it was perfect for my fall vignette! I decided this year to show some love to the black ledge shelves in my dining room, since they will be coming down soon, so for one last hoorah all decked for fall.
Instead of coming up with a printable this year, I had my eye on this lovely owl print, found here, that went right in line with the nature feel I was going after. I started by printing it out on card stock paper, found at any local craft store, for more of a post card feel.
I sized it down a little to fit my 5X7 opening, and trimmed off the access.
Then I placed it in my frame and I was good to go! I placed a white white pitcher filled with some farmhouse grains next to it, to add in that lovely fall texture.Â
I love it when I find an Etsy shop that is full of character and charm, and these adorable amber colored glass candles from Hawk & Hatchet are just that! First off, can we just drool for a minute over that gorgeous logo! I’m a bit of a logo admirer, and this one is totally calling my name. If that alone doesn’t tell you about this artisan, these amazing candle scents will. They are perfect for fall!
Be sure to stop by and visit everyone else on the tour too! I know you will love them, and be totally inspired for fall!
