Thank you so much for all of your kind words and congratulations on Sundays announcement! It truly is a dream come true, and I just feel so honored and full of gratitude to even have this opportunity! I’m still making my rounds through all the beautiful fall vignettes and free printables from Mondays post, but oh man it has got me in the mood for fall now! Even though we still have scorching temps in the high 90’s this week, and humidity like you wouldn’t believe, our leaves have already started to change colors, and it gets me SO excited for what’s too come. Fall in New England has to be one of my all time favorite things about living here, and growing up here, it truly is magical, and in a few weeks we will be at our peek season! I wanted to pop in today and share a few items in the new product line that I love and why I picked them! As you all know I love using vintage items and repurposing old things into modern day decor, and that is just what I had in mind with these.
First off, you all know I love old crates. I think it’s safe to say I’m a bit obsessed, but they are so multi-functional! I have some tucked in almost every room of my house, but the ones that get the most attention are in our kitchen and serve as a shoe storage. Really I just needed something that was pretty that we could tuck all the shoes in so they weren’t scattered all around the floor, or how about that infamous pile that always seems to happen right when you walk inside the door?! I have two different sets of crates in the product line, and just love the vintage feel they both offer.
Next up I love using different containers as vases. Actually I think 99% of the time when I need a vase, I’m grabbing an old bucket or vintage bottle, because even though it’s a small detail, they often times can make the biggest impact! It’s what takes your centerpiece or vignette from looking like an item anyone can buy at a store, to creating character and making it stand out! Not to mention they are extremely versatile.
These found pickling jars, and reproduction olive buckets are the perfect way to add texture and interest into any space!
And lets not forget my love for mercury glass, as seen in last years Thanksgiving Tablescape.Mercury glass votives are one of my go-to’s when creating vignettes, they had that subtle sparkle and shiny texture that I love pairing with a pair of destroyed books, or vintage items.
So I hunted for just the right pair, so you could add some to your home too!! I even have some hand picked fall decor items that I will be showing you in next weeks Fall Home Tour with Eclectically Vintage, and I can’t wait!!
Right now you can receive 15% off the collection using code : WELCOMEBRE at check out. And I can’t wait to see your Rooms FOR Rent goodies in your own homes! Thank you so much for joining with me on this journey, and celebrating with us!!
