Christmas Ornament Centerpiece

12/02/2015 By Bre

Thank you so so much for all of your kind words from yesterdays Christmas Tour. It was truly an honor to be apart of Jennifer Rizzo’s Holiday Housewalk this year. A blogging goal of mine for many years, and a dream come true! Today I’m going to share with you how I put together the centerpiece on our coffee table. I’m a big fan of using trays, or baskets, and bowls for coffee table decor. Especially if you don’t have a large coffee table, and you want the convenient of having something styled on your coffee table, but that is also easy to remove quickly if little hands are around, or you want to put your feet up! Today I’m teaming up with some crazy talented blogger to bring you another installment of 10 Minute Decorating – Christmas Edition!
To start I grabbed this antique copper bowl I had picked up at a barn sale a few months back, some white pillar candles, and my favorite mercury christmas ornaments.untitled-1197

I placed some flat styrofoam squares in the base of my bowl to give the candles a flat surface to sit on. untitled-1202

Next I placed my candles in the middle of the bowl, with the taller ones in the middle, and the shorter ones wrapping around them.untitled-1205

Next I placed my largest ornaments in the bowl. From here to the end you are basically working from biggest to smallest with what you have left for your filler.untitled-1209

Then my larger pinecones.

Next to add a little interest to it, I added THESE fun faux black antlers from Painted Fox. They tie in with the rest of my decor, and add that little pop of black I have carried throughout.

I filled in the rest of the gaps with some smaller pinecones, THESE smaller mercury glass ornaments, and mini glass ball ornaments.

Now I have a simple Christmas coffee table decor, that’s easy to move when I need to, and even easier to put together.

Oh I love this! I usually put a bunch of plastic bags at the bottom, this would work MUCH better, thank you! 🙂
