I think we can all raise our hand in agreement that at one time or another we have been in Target and left with more than we anticipated buying! I for one have to avoid that place some times for that reason alone. So many times though #targetdoesitagain and hits the nail on the head for their decor. We all know the feeling in the store, but have you shopped Target online lately? I was browsing their site the other day for a client, and while I have felt over the last few years Target has upped their game in the home decor department, I was surprised at everything they offer online now. So instead of keeping all these goodies to myself, I wanted to share with you 10 trendiest lights from Target!
I’ll admit it, at first I was like “this cannot be Target?!” But to my surprise, it totally was, and at completely reasonable prices too! All but one light is under $200, and almost half of my choices were under $100. If you have been waiting to pull the trigger on updating your light fixtures, than wait no more. One of my house goals for this year is to continue to update the ceiling lights in our home. It makes such a difference in your space, that many times it can be overlooked. However when we do, we miss out on a chance to add more of our personality to our space, and added charm. Even when we rented, we swapped out lighting fixtures. We saved the old lighting fixtures in a box, and when it was time to move, we simply swapped out the ones we had changed, back to the original lights. No money lost 😉 I hope you enjoy some of these drool worthy chandeliers and pendants as much as I do!

Hi Bre, when your overhead light fixture is the main source of light in the room, what wattage do you recommend so that it’s not too dark or light? Thanks! Judy
Bre says
I tend to not go about 60Watts, but the package the light comes in will also specify what wattage to use 🙂 I don’t like my overhead lights that bright, so I always go a little less than the norm. I think personal preference plays a factor in it too.

I tend to not go higher than 60 watts. I don’t like my overhead lights being that bright, but the packaging the lights come in will tell you the recommended wattage. I think personal preference plays a factor in it as well.

Thanks Bre I’m asking because most overhead lights that I like usually are not able to go over 60 watts and I thought it wouldn’t be bright enough. I should probably try it…thanks for your input!

We moved into our new home in December and got rid of every light fixture and replaced them all. Years ago Target used to carry hardwired lighting then they stopped. I am very glad they have decided to cary lighting again. Beautiful fixtures at reasonable prices.
