The dust has settled. You know that gets kicked up with kids going back to school and summer ending. Well maybe it’s just the last bit of beach sand being shaken out from our car, but life finally feels like it is in somewhat of a routine, and the air is crisp with fall. I’m teaming up with my friends at bHome to share a little bit more of fall around our home.
There is something so refreshing about a new season, and what I love most about fall, is it tugs at us to bring our focus back indoors, and cozy things up for the cold months ahead.
I know I’ve said it before, but I love living in New England to celebrate all the seasons, but especially fall. Leaves are already starting to turn colors here, and the process lasts about 6 weeks from the first leaves changing to peak season, and it is quite possibly the most beautiful show you’ve seen. 
Simple touches in our kitchen speak of the season changing outside. A pumpkin here, a pumpkin there, is really about all I do to add touches of fall into our kitchen.
Moving into our dining room, I created a simple fall harvest vignette on our table to welcome fall in an easy way. I simply just placed different ornamental pumpkins and squashes along the center of our table.
I added height by bringing in a cake pedestal for the center pumpkin to sit on, and a set of candlesticks that varied in heights as well. 
I love the subtle hints of fall these neutral pumpkins add. It’s calming and peaceful, and goes so well with the simple decor I’ve shared in our living room.

Bre, what a gorgeous home! I love all your fall touches, the colors, the everything. I especially love the chest in front of your sofa, for years and years we had an antique chest as our coffee table that belonged to my grandfather. Thank you for the fall inspiration!
Hi Lidy! That is so special that you had a chest from your grandfather for your coffee table. My husbands grandfather made ours in the 50’s and it got passed down to us. I love having it as a momento from him since he is no longer with us. Such sweet family memories 😉
