Well I did it, I put up our Christmas tree today! Don’t worry it’s not decorated yet, but its up and it’s pretty white lights are on. It’s like instant magic the moment the lights get plugged in. Every time it instantly evokes a sense of wonder and child like awe for the season. So before we get into full swing Christmas here on the blog, I decided to do a little round up of this year’s fall decor to make it easy to find. And what better way to celebrate fall before we all jump into Christmas than with some more pretty pictures 😉
In our Living Room this year I welcomed fall in by changing out our light and airy white curtains for a darker gray curtain panel. I gave all the details on them HERE, but it was one change that made a big impact in our space.
Next, I simply swapped out summer decor objects for fall themed pieces. Fresh clipped leaves from our yard replaced summer flowers, and faux pumpkins from our curated collection sprinkled around the room for a subtle touch.

It’s an effortless look I achieved in only swapping out a few items, which really soothes the simplicity I’ve been craving in our homes decor this year.
In our Dining Room, fresh pumpkins and gourds took centerstage. I created a tablescape that could last from September til Thanksgiving.
I love how soft these neutral pumpkins feel, but yet scream fall all at the same time. I used large wood cutting boards for the backdrop, which help bring your attention to the pumpkins placed in front of them, which otherwise might get lost against the white wall. Creating layers was my main focus in creating this vignette.
In the kitchen, it was about a pumpkin here and placing a pumpkin there. No need to go overboard, but really just adding a few simple fall touches to carry in the decor into our kitchen as well.
And lastly on our porch, falls bounty took centerstage. It was all about adding fresh pumpkins and gourds to set the mood.
I can’t believe November is already next week! I’m not sure I’m ready to switch over from pumpkin spice yet, but I am certainly soaking in all this holiday season has to offer.
