Merry Christmas Friends! I can’t believe we are finally here. Well ok, I can, but even though we countdown to Christmas every year, when it finally arrived I still can’t believe it! I hope that wherever you are celebrating Christmas this year, brings you cheer. I’m so excited to be joining in on my sweet friend Rachel from Maison de Pax Christmas Lights Night Tour!
If you are coming over from Setting for Four, welcome! I’m so glad you here! Come and enjoy a cozy look at our house at night 🙂
I started taking pictures at dusk in our dining room. I had never really taken photos of our home at night before, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect, but I love how cozy everything feels with the warm glow of the candles and white lights.
You can catch all the details of this years Christmas dining room table HERE. One of my favorite things to do after creating a tablescape is lighting all the candles. It’s so inviting, and I loved seeing this set up at night.
If you look at our table from the opposite side, it looks into our living room. I love that we get to see a view of our tree throughout our home.
One thing I realized in taking photos at night, is you never get to see what our bamboo blinds look like closed, since they are always open during the day. The provide great privacy, as well as help keep the cold air out in the winter.
One of my favorite things about Christmas is just sitting at night and gazing at the tree. It really is so peaceful and so beautiful. Looking through these photos reminds me of the simplest of Christmas carols. So as you continue to scroll I included the lyrics I’m reminded of.
” Silent night, holy night,
All is calm, all is bright”
“Round yon virgin
Mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild”
“Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace”
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas, and blessed time with all of those you hold near and dear!
Next stop on the tour is Thistlewood Farms! I love Karianne’s home during the day, and I can’t wait to see how magical it looks at night! Merry Christmas!
