Hi Friends!!
I have some pretty exciting news to share with you today. Umm sort of like, pinch me, dream come true kind of news. I feel like I’ve been keeping this secret for ever! Well for 1 year, and now I can share it with you and I’m so excited!!
The magazine is out and in stores NOW! You can find it just about anywhere. In fact every time I’m in the grocery store check out line, I grab a copy and flip through it, just to soak in the moment.
I still feel like it’s surreal, it truly has been a dream come true! I have always been a huge fan of Better Homes & Gardens, especially their Christmas Ideas Magazine. I’ve been buying issues of it for at least the last decade. It’s been my go-to, favorite magazine to get every time Christmas comes around. 
I can’t even begin to tell you of what a huge honor it is to have our home featured in this years issue of the Better Homes & Gardens Christmas Ideas magazine. I can remember in my early days of blogging think what an amazing accomplishment it would be to someday be featured in such a prestigious magazine. And I can’t believe the day actually arrived.
One of my favorite parts of the feature is reading the article. I love hearing other peoples words about our home, because lets be honest sometimes I feel like a broken record, and it’s so refreshing hearing another persons thoughts and compliments.
It is quite the spread, including a full page spread of our living room! You can see some of the photos below!
I’ll share more on my office space decorated for Christmas soon, as seen above. Because I never shared it last year. Along with the beautiful tablescape I created for the shoot.
It was such a joy and an honor working with Better Homes & Gardens, truly one of the highlights of my designing career. They are amazing, and I felt right at home (literally :P) the day of shoot, watching them work, help with the styling. It was so much fun! I hope you grab a copy when you see it out in the stores, and look for our feature. There are so many great shots, and tips you’ll read in the article 🙂

Your home is indeed lovely and you have every right to be proud of it and your accomplishments! I love your tree. The foyer/entryway is so welcoming and I adore the staircase! Congratulations! How great for you and your family! I have always gotten their magazine as well, but I didn’t know they had a special Christmas one. Is that just available at magazine racks?
I must have missed it because I divert my eyes from all the magazines at the grocery store check out line!

LOL, I know what you mean Christine! HA HA. I’ve also seen it at Target and Barnes & Nobles, I just don’t think it comes in the mail if you are a regular subscriber, if that helps 🙂

Congratulations, that’s truly a great accomplishment & compliment. You should be really proud of yourself. Suggestion if I may, put a couple of magazines in each of your kids memory boxes. When they get older, they will enjoy having something special about their mom & their growing up home. When I save something special that’s paper, I always put in zip lock bags just in case the memory bins get wet. My kids memory bins are huge so are stored in one of our garages, a tip I learned….stuff some scented fabric sheets throughout the inside of the bins, supposedly mice are turned off by the smell. We haven’t had one intruder in our bins in 17 years 🙂

Ps I’m glad you were able to sell your kitchen table, I was the one a few years back that asked you about having you build one for me, you offered to sell yours, it just didn’t pan out as I’m on the west coast. I loved that table 🙂
