Hello Friends! Have you recovered yet from perhaps the over eating on Thanksgiving, and maybe some extensive shopping done over the weekend to take advantage of the sales? I’m about 90% done with my Christmas shopping. Honestly this is the first year I think I’ve ever been that close to being done and it’s not even December 1st?! I took advantage of the sales over the weekend, and crossed just about everybody off my list, including a few things for myself!
Today I’m sharing with you how I decorated my home office for Christmas. You may remember seeing some of it in our feature in this years Better Homes & Gardens Christmas Ideas magazine. So today I wanted to share a few more glimpse’s of Christmas in my office.
I shared my newly transformed home office earlier this year. The walls are painted a deep navy blue, called Wescott Navy by Benjamin Moore. I love this dramatic color, especially with how my snowy white Christmas decorations pop up against it!
It really didn’t take much to add some christmas to the floating shelves above my office desk. A preserved boxwood wreath, some little trees, and a diy bottle brush tree garland was all it took to feel festive.
I love these faux paper white stems I got from Magnolia last year. I will be sharing next week how I created this simple arrangement, and made it festive for Christmas.
A tiny glitter village house from Michaels creates a little winter scene on top of my desk. I love it because it doesn’t take up much space, but adds a whole bunch of impact to that area.
I hide christmas presents in the closet in my office, because it’s nice and deep, and the kids never go in there. It’s great because I can wrap presents on my desk, and leave out all my supplies without them being in the way.
Tomorrow I will be sharing our home in the final day of this years Holiday Housewalk, and I can’t wait. Every year I always say that “this year is my favorite christmas decor”, and I felt the same way again this year. I guess it all depends on what I’m in the mood for, and how I feel like decorating 🙂 You can see last years Holiday Housewalk tour HERE to see how I decorated for Christmas last year!

Looks beautiful! Also, I’m in love with that quote on the top shelf “Make their life together a sign of love….etc” My husband and I printed those out and put them on every table at our wedding reception. I think it’s just so beautiful and exactly what I want our marriage to be!
