Hello Friends! We have been thoroughly enjoying our weekend. Watching christmas movies, making hot cocoa, and hosting our first holiday party of the season. I don’t know why but during the holidays I crave hot chocolate more than any other time throughout the year. It’s the perfect afternoon treat, and I find the kids craving it just as much as I have been lately. To keep things easy to reach I like to set up a little hot chocolate bar in our kitchen so you can make it whenever the cravings strike!
I stock up on our favorite k-cup pods of peppermint hot chocolate, and grab a few extra pre-made marshmallow snowflakes from Targets christmas section. The kids love them, and it makes having hot chocolate this time of the year feel extra special.
These new mugs from Lindsay Letters shop are a favorite Christmas sentiment, because it reminds of our family tradition of watching “It’s a Wonderful Life” every year at Christmas time. They have a vintage enamel look, but have a heavier weight to them than traditional enamel, which I LOVE!
Right next to our Keurig in the kitchen is where I keep our family calendar. It totally helps me keep our weeks in order, with the kids old enough now to have their own events, it’s nice to be able to take a quick look and see everything that is going on.
You can find these NEW creative calendars from Lindsay Letters, the come in a variety of sizes and frames, and you also have the option of choosing horizontal or vertical. I have always loved Lindsay’s calligraphy and now I get to look at it every day, while it helps keep my life organized.
And because it’s dry erase, I never have to get a new calendar again! I can just erase the month when it’s over and fill it out for the new month approaching.
It even gives you a space to jot down extra notes, important things, or some monthly goals.
I chose the 19×24 size, with the coastal white frame. I love it because it completely disguises the side of our fridge, while still keeping the area looking neat and tidy, and not cluttered with a bunch of things on our fridge.
Whatever you are doing to celebrate this holiday season, I hope you are taking some time to soak in the moments, celebrate some traditions, and enjoy all this season has to offer. I’m really looking forward to making christmas cookies with the kids in the next week or two as we count down to christmas.
Stay in touch!
