Hello Friends! I can’t believe the first month of the new year is already done! What a month it had been too! As most of you know, my e-mail subscription had been infiltrated with over 700 spam e-mails, causing my e-mail service to come to a screeching halt until they were all deleted. Which meant me doing it manually one at a time. Endless hours were spent trying to clean up the issue, I still have to fix a few things, but that’s ok, because I was already wanting to spruce up my e-mail anyways. (Rest assured nobody’s e-mail address’ were compromised, it was purely an in-house thing, but it means I’m basically starting over. So if you were subscribed to my blog, and haven’t been hearing from me lately, I’ve had to ask everyone to re-subscribe, and you can do so by clicking this link – HERE ). Now that we are getting back on track, I still have a few more things to do, but I’m hoping to get the new e-mailer up in the next couple of weeks, so be on the look out for that!
So many of you left comments and sent me e-mails so how sorry you were, and how glad you were that I was still here, and I just want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! I love the community on here, and am so glad to have all of you here with me!
So lets take a look at what went on in the month of January.
I shared what my top posts for 2017 were, and the numbers don’t lie.
I also rounded 22 of my favorite storage baskets right now, all under $50!!
There’s nothing like getting organized to start off the new year, and making that unsightly clutter disappear. Sometimes I just have a basket lying around simply to make cleaning up quicker. When things can be tossed in a basket quickly, it comes in handy!
Next I revealed some of my goals for 2018 for around our house. While there are still quite a few things I want to get done on the inside, this will be the year that we focus more on the outside of our home, and continuing some of our landscaping goals.
I also revealed our plans to reno our master bathroom!
I am so excited to get this project underway, materials have started showing up, and we actually got some of the preliminary work done yesterday, that needed to take place before we could demo some of the walls in our bathroom.
You can see all the sources HERE for design plan, and I will be sharing the BEFORE photos very soon!
And since we’re talking about bathrooms, I rounded up 15 furniture style single vanities that would easily add character and update your bathroom!
Lastly, I added a fun new piece to our kitchen. I’ve been craving some warmth around our house during these winter months, and this did just the trick!

And that’s it! That’s what went on in January here on the blog. And if you haven’t had a chance to subscribe yet, you can click the link HERE, to make sure you stay up to date with all the things going on!
