I mentioned in my post the other day about refreshing your front porch that we are in the process of switching out our exterior lights! I’m so excited to use something that feels more farmhouse to me. We actually replaced the one by our kitchen door just before winter, and plan to do the light by the front door in the next couple weeks. All of these lights we are using are from Amazon, and while I was shopping for myself, I noticed so many great choices, I decided to share my top picks with you too! Here are 20 of my favorite outdoor lights all found on Amazon.
The gooseneck barn light in #2 are the ones we are installing at our house. We installed the one next to our kitchen door just before winter, but still need to swap out the one by our front and back doors. I love how it instantly changes the feel of our house, and can’t wait to share!
#6 and #8 are similar, but you’ll notice that while #6 has more of a curved neck, while #8 has a straight neck for a more modern feel.
Of all the exterior light styles, I would have to say gooseneck are probably my favorite. But I do love the more modern, rectangle lantern options as well. They have a modern farmhouse feel that I chose for my “urban” front door refresh in yesterday’s post.
I also plan to install a bigger gooseneck barn light out at our shed, and hope to do that sometime in the next month or so.
The original one we installed was a quick fix, but since our shed is more or less a two horse stall barn, it needs something a little bit bigger to compliment the size of the structure. I’ll be sure to share the before and after when we do that too!
