Growing up in New England and 30 minutes from the beach I have always had a strong love for coastal style decor. It feels so reminiscent to me, as it reminds me of summers at the beach, collecting sea shells, and driving up the coast looking at all the pretty houses. Today I’m sharing some of my absolute favorite coastal style decor from Serena & Lily, and it just so happens to be on sale!
There’s something so relaxing that you find in coastal style. The soft worn in fabrics that feel similar to your favorite vintage tee. I’m obsessed with anything striped, and I can always find a favorite striped something when I’m looking at coastal decor. It just has that laid back feel typical of how you would feel visiting the beach over summer break.
Of course I love the use of navy blue and white that you also find with it for a slightly nautical feel. To me coastal style decor is flexible like farmhouse style, it just has a slightly more beach vibe. Maybe that’s why I love it so much, because it reminds me of summers at the beach as a kid, which was something we always looked forward too!
