Happy Friday Friends!! If you caught my post yesterday than you know we are smack dab in the middle of remodeling our kitchen floor! I shared yesterday about the demo process so far, and believe me when I say this, I can’t wait to share this finished project! Today we are wrapping up the Farmhouse Style Home Tour Series with our final farmhouse style home tour for the summer! I love sharing different farmhouse style homes with you every Friday throughout the summer, and am always so bummed when the season comes to an end, but it gives me something fun to look forward to next year!
For our final farmhouse style home tour of this summers series, I’m sharing Loren from Blue Barn Cottage!
I first came across Loren’s home on Instagram last year, and just fell in love instantly with how welcoming and cozy it felt.
I love how she breaks up her entryway and living room with an accent wall of board and batten, and creates a drop zone with hooks and a console table .
I love her neutral color scheme, with subtle pops of blue, and of course loads of farmhouse character.
In her kitchen, she sticks with the same neutral color scheme, but loads of character from the shiplap range hood, to the shiplap on the ceiling and the island, paired with warm wood tones to add some depth to the white.
It’s so charming and inviting, I could totally envision myself having coffee in here every morning.
Loren has done a great job keeping with the original arceheture and feel of the home, while keeping things feeling fresh and new.
Her daughters bedroom, and the guest room pictured next, are equally as charming and inviting. It truly feels like a cozy cottage.
You can see more of Lorens beautiful home on Instagram at the Blue Barn Cottage, for more cozy farmhouse style!
