I shared yesterday how this year for fall, it is all about subtle changes. Instead of doing a complete overhaul in our house for fall, I took my time, and added simple fall touches that really spoke to me. I love how calming and relaxed our space feels, and I truly believe that there are no rules when it comes to how you decorate for fall. Decorate for yourself, and what feels good to you, and you can never go wrong.
This week it is also Fall Home tour week! All week long talented bloggers are sharing their homes dressed and ready for fall to help inspire you with all kinds of ideas for your own fall decor. So be sure to stick around to the bottom of the post for tons of more fall home decor inspiration!
I wanted things to feel cozy while still remaining neutral. So I brought in soft greens and cozy knits to achieve this simple fall decor look.
With the cooler temps we’ve been having I can tell you our front door won’t be swung open too much longer, but for now I’m totally soaking in the days where I still can leave it open, and allow the sun to fill that space.
Standing at the bottom of our staircase you get the view into our living room that you see below. I shared in my stories last week, how one of the subtle changes I made for fall was how I swap out artwork, and how this simple switch is all I need to embrace the new season. I’ll be sharing more on that tomorrow!
I shared my fall mantle HERE, and decided this year that I wanted to create a cute vignette re-using my terra cotta pots, but this time with “potted” white pumpkins.
And in case you missed it, I also shared a bit of fall in our kitchen. We are currently wrapping up installing a new floor in there, but I did manage to decorate our little antique dresser, and the open shelves before the demo began.
