Fall in our living room this year is all about simple. I wanted the transition into fall to feel effortless, with easy changes, simple decor, and of course cozy texture. I love the reminder that you don’t have to give a room a complete overhaul for it to feel ready for the new season that’s upon us. That sometimes it just means swapping out throw blankets, adding a little warmth, and a simple artwork swap. All of which I did to accomplish our simple fall living room this year. Come take a look ~
I’m so excited to be joining up with my friends for another edition of Seasons of Home, hosted by Kristen from Ella Claire & Co. This time as we all share our living rooms decorated for fall.

One of the ways I simplified this year, was by using my left over faux floral berries from my DIY wreath, placing them in containers around my living room, and then adding real silver dollar eucalyptus to them, so they would look real. Everything you see – including the pumpkins around our living room, is a mix of faux and real.
I also swapped out the artwork on the wall, using some digital download prints I ordered off of Etsy, for a subtle change that feels more like fall. I shared this whole process on my stories in IG last week, and will put together a post to show you step by step what I did 🙂

I wanted things to feel cozy while still remaining neutral. So I brought in soft greens and cozy knits to achieve this simple fall decor look.
Our new chairs from Sixpenny look right at home with this look. I shared all about them HERE, but trust me when I say, we are loving these chairs! And I just love how they look and feel in our living room.

I got the cozy muted green throw blanket you see on the couch from Amazon, and I was so surprised at the quality of this, given it’s affordable price. It’s so soft, and has a nice weight to it, perfect for those cool fall nights.
Sadly they are currently out of stock on the green, but I’m sharing the link to the pretty gray one they have, and just in case they happen to get more of the green one in, you know exactly which one it is – click HERE.

Along with wanting to add more cozy texture for fall, I wanted to bring in a little muted warm tones. I got this muted brown pillow cover from Cloth & Main during their Labor day sale, and the moment I added it to our living room, my fall decor felt complete.
I also picked up these two cable knit throw pillows, from Amazon, that I had been eyeing for awhile. One of my favorite “neutrals” to decorate with is texture, and they had the perfect cozy look I was craving.
