Hello Friends!! I’m so excited for today because we kick off the Holiday Housewalk hosted by Jennifer Rizzo. Jen has been hosting the Holiday Housewalk for nine years! I can remember seeing Jen’s Housewalk as one of the first holiday blogger home tours, and couldn’t believe when I got voted in for a spot on the tour.
Today is Day 1, and inspiration continues all week long, with tons of holiday decorating ideas.
If you are stopping by from Blesser House – Welcome! I just adore Laurens home, especially at Christmas. Her view of her front entryway staircase with garland, just slightly peeking in the dining room is a favorite of mine! Lauren is stop #3 in the housewalk, and you can click the image below to go see her house, in case you haven’t yet.
Just in case you happen to be popping by my little corner of the internet for the first time, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself! I’m Bre, and I share this house with my husband, our 2 kiddos, 1 dog, 1 cat, and 16 chickens – who live in their coop, lol!
I shared most of our living room HERE.
This is my third year decorating with mostly white and mercury glass ornaments, and I have to say it’s probably my most favorite. I shared more about our tree HERE, and how I make the platform for it HERE, as well as some sources for that chunky white blanket I wrap it with.
Our living room and dining room share more of an open concept floor plan, with these half columns separating the two rooms, yet keeping them open to one another.
I shared this festive holiday tablescape HERE.
Walking through our dining room, you enter into the kitchen.
I will tell you, Iโve been drawn to a more simplistic approach this year vs. past years, but Iโm also allowing myself to not feel rushed in decorating our home for Christmas. Iโve been focusing on creating little areas that spark joy, like this spot in our kitchen, with THIS fun holiday canvas from Lindsay Letters.
Right now you can get 20% off Lindsay’s entire site using code : ROOMSFORRENT at check out, but it only lasts through cyber Monday. Click here to shop.
I shared our kitchen shelves decorated for Christmas HERE.
Next up in the Holiday Housewalk is Kelly Elko. Be sure to stop by Kelly’s house, you will love her holiday home. And see who is next on the Holiday Housewalk Day 1 tour!
