Hello friends! Spring is coming! I literally said to my husband this morning as he came downstairs “the sun came up earlier this morning”, and I can’t wait for it to be light out even longer after we change the clocks this weekend!
I am so excited because right now my book baby is ON SALE, on Amazon, for a steal! In case you didn’t know, my book is actually broken up into the 4 seasons, so to celebrate the SALE I thought it would be fun to share some glimpses of the Spring Gatherings from my book!

Indoor Garden Party Gathering
Spring inspires, as we watch the landscape around us wake up from a long winters slumber. New life is coming forth up out of the ground, and in the trees and bushes all around us, it’s no wonder I feel that way in my spirit as well. New possibilities, new ideas, and a fresh sense of hope, all bursting forth from within, as if they were buried under a winters snow, and now pop up like daffodils from the ground.
Enchanting Orchard Picnic
When I was a kid, my grandmother had 2 very large lilac trees in her yard. She gave my sisters and I the freedom to pick as many blooms as we’d like, and then let the creativity continue as we headed inside to put on the hat of floral designer and artistically arrange our blooms.
When I was brainstorming ideas for the book, I was driving in my car one beautiful spring morning. Headed to the grocery store thinking about what spring meant to me. If I closed my eyes and thought about spring, and inhaled all of its’ beauty, what did I want to share about it most in my book.
That memory of my grandmothers house came rushing back into my mind, as if I had unlocked it from a secret room, filled with special memories I hold closest. Spring to me is the smell of fresh lilacs, and laying in the grass in my grandmother’s yard gazing up at her bigger than life lilac trees.
Spring also means to me that I get to put my hands back in the dirt. Playing with my garden containers, and allowing nature to awaken my soul. I wanted to celebrate those first warm days of spring, when I able to spend all day in my yard, planting and planning my landscape, with this fun indoor garden party idea.
You don’t have to have a “green thumb” to create this indoor garden party, and in my book I give you all the encouragement you need to sow seeds of hospitality that help relationships grow and bloom.
This Spring, I hope you take a chance to make everyday life feel beautiful. Plan a gathering, whether it’s a picnic with your kids, or a tea party with your friends, I hope that you feel inspired and refreshed to be intentional about gathering this season.
