Spring Mantle | 2020

03/11/2020 By Bre

I don’t know about you, but all this talk about spring definitely has me in the mood to decorate for it! I’ve even found myself giving our extra large winter jackets one final wash, and cleaning off winter boots to put them away, fingers crossed, until next year 🙂 Today I’m sharing my spring mantle, which is actually the buffet in our dining room, since I don’t have a mantle. I love transforming this space seasonally, and this year I was craving light and fresh.

Come and see ~

I mentioned craving something light and airy, and these pink peach branches from Michael’s were just what I was in the mood for. I love the subtle color of peachy-pink they add, and the look of the faux fruit is so fresh for spring.

I placed two peach branches in recycled glass bottles on either end my buffet, and then brought in some of my favorite turned wood candlesticks to add some variation in height.

On the right, I used this smaller white lantern, a Target value spot find from a few years ago, and filled it with a few faux spring floral picks, also from Michaels.

In the center I placed a smaller scalloped wood bowl, filled with some napkins and napkin rings, which happens to be the smaller bowl I used as the bottom pedestal from my DIY Spring Floral Arrangement, I shared yesterday.

On the right side of my buffet, to go with the peach branches and wood candle holder, I also placed a smaller demijohn bottle (recently from Hobby Lobby), and placed a faux peony stem in it, to add that soft spring feel.

Today I’m joined by some of my talented blogging friends who are also sharing their Spring Mantel (or vignettes) with you. Be sure to see what they are sharing by clinking the links below the images.

Tell us about The sign over the buffet or did I miss it?
Where do you get these printed signs? Are they for sale?
    Thanks!

Thank you! The sign was custom from Between You & Me for my book release, and they carried it for a little bit, I will see if they can bring it back again 🙂
