Hello Friends! It feels so good to be sharing a post about fall! I have to admit, it feels like fall sort of snuck up on us this year, and I find myself reminded of the quote by Oscar Wilde “And all at once summer collapsed into fall”. I find myself ready, and longing for not only the structure that fall tends to bring with it, but all the warm nostalgias that make fall great. Apple picking, pumpkin spice lattes, leaves changing colors, and that crisp fall air that has us grabbing for cozy blankets and warmer sweaters. The pumpkins are on the farm stands here in New England, and if you look close enough you can even see the leaves are already beginning to turn. I find the familiarities to be comforting and hopeful that not all is lost or forgotten, and my love for gathering in the fall seems greater this year too!
Today, I’m joined by some friends as we share some beautiful fall tablescapes for a fall soiree. And I can’t wait to dive in!
New England is known for it changing leaves, and while I love the cooler tones, and muted pumpkins, I wanted to try a fun color scheme this year. So I paired my favorite blues, and cinderella pumpkins, with some red leaves from a japanese maple tree our neighbor so graciously allowed me to cut.
The red leaves adds a firey warmth to the otherwise cooler toned pieces, and to incorporate some of that warmth, I used my rose gold flatware and warm wood chargers.

To continue with the warm and cool combo, I paired my blue goblets with a slightly smaller stemmed glass that has a gold rim. You can find the blue glasses HERE, and the smaller stemmed glasses were from Anthropologie a few years ago. But I love how the aged gold rim brings out the same warm tones found in the flatware.

I absolutely adore those Japanese Maple leaves!! We used to have one at two of our previous homes and it was absolutely my favorite tree. Love how you pared the blue and gold with it. I must get my hands on some of those wood chargers!
