Hello Friends
It has been SO long since I’ve shared one of these posts with you, and with lazy summer schedules still in full swing, it can’t help but feel like a timely way to touch base and catch up on things so far. I started these Currently Loving posts as a way to share with you all the things that have caught my eye as of lately. Whether it’s home decor inspiration, a paint color, a fashion trend, a new gadget, a book, or even song that I can’t stop singing. There’s no particular rhyme or reason, or order in which I share them, just a compilation of all the things that have caught my eye as of lately.
So in complete random order, Here We Go!
This Sconce Light Fixture –
Reminds me of the ones I picked for our master bath remodel in our previous house, reveal shared HERE. I have plans to add a few these to our hallway upstairs for a little added detail along with some architectural wall moldings.
This Instagram Account –
New to me, I recently stumbled across this IG account, StephGowla, when I was searching for “Old English Style”. I just love the details of the built in cabinets. The warm tones in the paint colors, and of course the exposed beam and stones 🙂 This one is giving me all the heart eyes.
This Pitcher –
I still love all things rattan, and this woven pitcher just screams summer to me 🙂 Found HERE.
This Design Trend – Peg Rail
I have been crushing hard on the peg rail trend (shown HERE) that seems to be sweeping the design world lately. Especially since it falls right in line with the design style I want to add to our new house. Even though it’s considered a “design trend” right now, to me it feels classic. Historic. And timeless, and I love the charm it adds.
This Lived-In Sweatshirt –
Friends, I have been LIVING in this sweatshirt! On sale right now, and I love it so much I have it in white too. It’s the prefect relaxed sweatshirt, that’s not too bulky, and hangs just right. I did size down to a small for this, and it still has the “just right” slouchy look, without looking too boxy. I seriously want to buy 2 more in the same color so I have backups when I wear through this one. It’s that good! Found HERE.
This Fence –
While we didn’t get to tackling our garden spaces this year, that doesn’t mean I haven’t been planning. I hope to add a fence like this around our garden beds next year to protect our blueberry bushes and vegetables from our backyard wildlife.
This Antique Dresser –
I honestly feel like I could never have too many antique dressers. I just love the look of them so much. This one styled in an entryway creates the perfect landing spot for a table lamp, some fresh flowers, and helps ground the mirror on the wall behind it. I love the way it looks effortlessly styled.
That’s it for this installment. I’m curious if anything caught your eye, or what design trends you’re crushing on right now. I’ll be back soon with more new house updates, but until then I hope you are having a fabulous summer!

Love everything. I would order the sweatshirt but it has an elastic waist and I try to hide mine. Love the dresser and rattan.

As an owner of a farm, I highly recommend you consider a 4-rail fence rather than 3. We do 4 rails and our uncle does 3…his fall apart much sooner.

I would love to have a stone wall and loved those big baskets with the lids. Thanks so much for these ideas and I also love rattan.

Bre, So good to hear from you again.Miss your blog. I am sure your new house is keeping you extremely busy.
Can’t recommend the hook, shelf combo enough. I have several throughout our home and love them. In the bedrooms it keeps clothes from being dropped on a chair. In our guest room provides our guest with a place to hang pocketbooks, makeup and sundry holders and of course their coats in cold weather, bathroom ,guest towels, backscratcher towels, cute basket to hold dried lavender ect and lastly in the kitchen for favorite cups, baskets seasonal decor. One with wide shelf holds a pretty little lamp which serves as a cute nitelight.
Definitely can’t have today hooks or shelves.
