15 Furniture Style Single Vanities

01/24/2018 By Bre

If you caught my post Monday, than you know we are planning a makeover for our Master Bathroom. I can hardly wait to get started on it, but before we start tearing out a wall I will be sure to share the before photos with you. After spending hours browsing and searching, and narrowing down my choices, I created a design plan with all of my final decisions and finally felt like I could truly envision the space. You can see my design plan for the space HERE, and I shared a bit on why I chose the pieces I did based off of budget and the need to add lots of character to our boring beige bathroom. I also shared a bit on why I came to the decision to downsize to a 24″ vanity. In my searching for a vanity, there were many that I came across that caught my eye. Even though size was a factor, I was also wanting something that didn’t look so builder-basic, and looked more like a piece of furniture. So today I’m sharing with you 15 furniture style single vanities that caught my eye, including the one that I chose for our master bathroom makeover.

As I mentioned, one of the biggest design elements our bathroom is currently lacking is character. So choosing a vanity that had character in the details was a must. And even though we don’t have space for a double vanity, I think you’ll find that these single vanities pack a punch when it comes to having character in their details. *This post contains affiliate links for your convenience, which means I make a tiny portion of the sale with no additional cost to you whatsoever.*

I love the pieces that have details in the doors. Whether it’s a bead board look, or shutter style. Those details add instant character and have the charm you find in older homes.

One factor I loved was a vanity that had legs, similar to that of a dresser. However not a must, as you’ll see I also like 2 different ones that didn’t have legs (option 5 + 9), it was definitely one of the main elements I was looking for.

One of the other contributing factors in design was the countertop. Marble was my first choice, but I also liked anything that was white or gray, not necessarily the material.

You can see the vanity I ended up going with in the Design Plan – HERE – and the faucet I paired with it, along with other sources for the space. Bathroom Design Plan | Rooms FOR Rent Blog
