Hello Friends!! First of all I have to say, I had every intention of getting this posted on Friday, but we had one thing after another come up, and there just weren't enough hours in the week to get all that I needed done between work and family. With back to school this week, and soccer practice starting up, we are trying to squeeze in the last bit of our summer bucket list. I shared part of my story over here on the blog over 3 years ago. 3 years in the blogging world can seem like a decade! And so I decided I wanted to share it again for 2 reasons. One being that even though this is a home decor (mostly) blog, I am passionate about encouraging other women to chase their dreams. I don't know if it's celebrating each season, or the anticipation of the seasonal change right around the corner, but I find myself being drawn to certain things, or pieces at different times throughout the year. Hello Friends and Happy Friday! I can't believe another week has come and gone and the weekend is upon us! The hubby and I are off with some friends this weekend to go catch a Red Sox game in Baltimore. Even though, dare I say it, the hint for fall is starting to creep in my mind, I still find myself trying to soak in every single moment of summer, because I know, just around the corner the days start to become shorter, and cooler temps have me longing for sweaters and everything pumpkin spice! Picnic in an Apple Orchard
A few months ago I had a tiny dream come to life. I've hinted about a "secret" project I've been working on, and while I won't be able to reveal that secret until early next year, I can share a part of this tiny dream come true photo shoot I did. I got to set up and photograph a picnic tablescape in an apple orchard right at the peak of when all the apple blossoms where in full bloom. It was magical, and a dream setting for sure. I had my favorite florist friend working on location with me that day, we had a boat load of accessories for the shoot, that once the main shoot was done, we set things up bit differently, swapped out some pieces, adding in a pop of red, and viola had a completely ...
