Fall Vignette

Hello Friends!! I'm so happy to be joining in another round of the Seasonal Simplicity Fall Series this week, this time sharing our fall decorated mantles or vignettes! Honestly, vignettes are my favorite thing to create - next to Tablescapes that is, I love creating smaller arrangements, and the flexibility to change it up as often as I feel, or leave it that way for months if I like. There is so much flexibility with it, and I like to think it's the one thing I've been doing since I was 13, lol! Hello Friends, and happy FRIDAY!! Is it me or did this week fly by? Maybe it's because Monday was a holiday, maybe it's because I started sharing some fall decor posts? Seasons of Home | Fall Kitchen

Hello Friends! I'm so glad you enjoyed my DIY fall "wreath" I shared yesterday! It had been quite a while since I had crafted if you will, and it felt so nice to do something a little different than just decorating. I shared the fall planter hanging on our kitchen door. DIY Fall Wreath

Hello Friends!! Today I'm excited to be joining a group of over 20 other talented bloggers who are also sharing a Fall DIY wreath tutorial with you! I'm so excited to be joining in the Seasonal Simplicity Fall Series hosted by the lovely Krista from the Happy Housie.  I decided to do something little bit different than a traditional wreath. The kids started back to school on Thursday, and with temps in the 50's at night, it sure feels like fall is knocking on our doorstep. First of all I have to say, I had every intention of getting this posted on Friday, but we had one thing after another come up, and there just weren't enough hours in the week to get all that I needed done between work and family. With back to school this week, and soccer practice starting up, we are trying to squeeze in the last bit of our summer bucket list. I shared part of my story over here on the blog over 3 years ago. 3 years in the blogging world can seem like a decade! And so I decided I wanted to share it again for 2 reasons. One being that even though this is a home decor (mostly) blog, I am passionate about encouraging other women to chase their dreams. Currently Loving {vol. 2}

I don't know if it's celebrating each season, or the anticipation of the seasonal change right around the corner, but I find myself being drawn to certain things, or pieces at different times throughout the year. Not as generic as lets say pumpkin spice everything come fall, or coconut smelling soaps and lotions in the summer. No this varies from season to season, and changes throughout the mood. Hello Friends and Happy Friday! I can't believe another week has come and gone and the weekend is upon us! The hubby and I are off with some friends this weekend to go catch a Red Sox game in Baltimore. My husband is an avid Red Sox fan, so we are taking a 6 hour road trip with some friends for a long weekend away!
