Farmhouse Laundry Room Makeover
Hi Friends! We have been busting out some projects over here that had been put on the back burner since they weren't necessarily pressing to get done. But it feels so good to cross some of these of my list. You know that list that my husband thinks never ends, and can't tangibly see because it exists in my head, and I slowly add to it. DIY Chalk Painted Cabinet
One of my favorite transformations to do is making over a piece of furniture. I love that for a fraction of the price of buying a new piece, you can make existing furniture work with a little elbow grease. That was just what was needed for the little cabinet we have in our downstairs bathroom when we gave it a makeover. Summer Tour of Homes 2017
It sure has been feeling a lot like summer this past week. With temps reaching into the 90's, and all the leaves just about fully in bloom on the trees, it's safe to say the snow is now behind us here in New England. We even escaped to the lake one afternoon last week, which totally felt like summer. I am so ready for it. I don't know about you, but I'm ready for summer vacation, lazy days, going to the beach, and not having to make anymore school lunches! Can I get an AMEN! A Mother’s Day Tablescape
Thank you so much for your kind words to yesterdays post! I shared my struggle to keep up with running at a break-neck pace with little or no time to refresh ourselves. The downside to this is we end up running out of creative juices. I'm talking about when the creative pool runs dry. We are left feeling unmotivated and uninspired to create or put our hands into any project. It's so important as a creative person to take time to do what you love. That might seem like a no-brainer at first, but life's demands have a way of creeping in and stealing us away from the things we love to do the most. Spring Porch Refresh
The rain has finally stopped. Although the extended forecast says we are in for more, but for now it stopped long enough for me to refresh our porch for spring. Once warmer temps start to hit here in New England, it's like everything comes to a screeching halt, and we turn our attention to all things outdoors. I think our long winters really help us appreciate the warmer months, and being outside. However you can't fully enjoy it unless you have a space to sit down and relax, and enjoy it in.
