It's that time of year again. You know getting that fabulous family picture for those darn holiday cards! Is it me or is fall like national take your family picture time. Whether you hire someone to take your photos, or tackle that task yourself, I've been there and I've done both, and regardless of who is behind the camera, you want the ones in front of the camera looking their best. Truly I am, it fits our space so well, and my personal style, and is such a great way to reflect a personal mission statement. Fall Porch and New Outdoor Lanterns

It's been a long time since you guys have seen the outside of my house. A Long Time! HA HA. I love the outside, but am working on my green thumb. One time of the year though my green thumb thrives is mum season. Mums like me, I like them! They are easy for me to maintain, and forgive quickly if I forget to water them :) I wish my kids were that forgiving if I forgot to feed them, but no, they get in my face all day long and ask for food, I swear I really do feed them :) For fall, I love to flood my porch with mums and pumpkins. But today I wanted to share with you some of my go to decor items I bring out for fall, or look for when I'm shopping for a client. Texture is one of the biggest ways to create a cozy space, and fall is all about cozy. Sorry I've been a little mia lately. September has been a busy month for us, but I'm happy to say that things are finally calming down. Summer Catch Up!

I've shared this sweet little list here on the blog before. I love this list because I feel like it's the best way to catch up with all of you, with what is on my mind and in my heart! We have been enjoying our summer, being outside and soaking in the summer sun. We are getting ready for our last vacation of the summer next week, with lots of day trips and fun activities planned, as well as our FIRST day ever to school.
