I Promise, I am still alive. So, you would have to know my daughter and her obsession with bling.i.e. anything sparkly, colorful, and preferably wearable.We are talking about jewelry people,and yes she isn't even 2 yet,but the obsession began long ago.She calls any and all jewelry "pretty"as a noun not an adjective.Needless to say she is in love with my latest project.I first saw this idea on Pinterest,and have basically wanted to make one ever since. A New Sign

I know I just recently showed you a sign I made celebrating our anniversary,that now hangs in our room,BUTI made another one.I actually have quite a few on the list of signs to make, and if you follow me on Facebook, you've already gotten a sneak peak.I'm excited to finally share it with you!Once we finished adding more board & batten,the space needed something different.This is what we had before:I was never really settled with this, but it worked in the meantime,because the thought of a blank wall,would drive me nuts!I grabbed some extra pallet boards and had the hubby secure them together for me.I stained the boards, and then painted on the lyrics,"You put your arms ... So, you may or may not remember my post back in the beginning of the year35 by 35.Well this past weekend I participated in my first 5k,with the hubs, and now I'm able to cross anotheritem of my list!YIPEE.I included it so you could see the original :)Make homemade bread from scratch. (Thanks to this fabulous/easy recipe).Make a successful pie crust from scratch.Give more generously.Make a scrappy quilt.Home school my children.Make my own piece of furniture.
