I know I’ve been sharing a lot lately about how much I love to purge and clean out our spaces during these winter months. Once the holidays are behind us, and all the Christmas decor is brought back down to the basement, I love to look at the rooms in our home with a fresh set of eyes. Naturally all the blank spaces left behind from holiday decorations being taken down has me wanting to refresh our space. So today I’m sharing 5 ways you can refresh your space, with little to no money being spent.
Our Living Room throughout the Year
Hello Friends!! With the holidays behind us, I brought the last bins of Christmas decor down to our basement – today! Thankfully, it was mostly the Christmas decor from the kids room, but it feels so good to have the house back down to a clean slate. I just finished swapping over my pillow covers, back to something neutral for the winter months, and it got me thinking about all the little changes I do in our living room throughout the year. I know you see it when I share our living room for each seasonal tour, but I thought it would be fun to point out how I change things from season to season, all rounded up in one post. Sort of a Before & After, but more or less just the After’s. So today I’m sharing the different looks our living room has throughout the year.

Easy Christmas Floral Arrangement | DIY
Hello Friends! Today I’m sharing an easy floral arrangement tutorial just in time for Christmas. Trust me when I say this is so simple, and so easy to make, but makes a huge impact in any room you place it. Transitioning Throw Pillows | Christmas Edition
I’ve mentioned it before, but one of the ways I like to transition the decor in my home from season to season is swapping out my throw pillow covers. I actually keep them all in the trunk in our living room that we use as a coffee table, so they are close by when I’m ready to swap things over. This makes it super easy to do a quick change in my decor, without the expense of buying all new pillows every time. So I wanted to share how I transitioned our couch pillows over recently for Christmas.
Simple Christmas Vignette
I know I’ve said before that tablescapes are my favorite thing to create here on the blog, but coming in at a close second would have to be vignettes. Yesterday I shared a Green + White holiday tablescape, and I always love to create a vignette on the buffet in our dining room that coordinates. So today I’m sharing the simple Christmas vignette I created to go along with yesterdays tablescape.
A New Sign Inspired by the Book!
Hello Friends! I am so excited to share a new piece of decor hanging in our house with you today! A new sign! And not just any sign, this one has such a special meaning, because it’s a quote from my book! Seeing my words displayed in this beautiful artistic way, and the gentle reminder that it brings with it, has my heart overloaded with joy! I’m so excited to share it with you today!

Hello Friends!! I’m so excited to share todays post with you, all about getting your guest room ready! If you are reading this, and a wondering to yourself “I had no idea you had a guest room?”, then you aren’t too far off! Technically, I don’t have a designated guest room in our house – yet! But today I’m going to show you how I prepare for guest, and even how I set up a “make-shift” guest room for when we have guests.
27 Inspiring Wreaths to last all Winter long
Hello Friends!! It’s hard to believe that winter is only a few short weeks away. I know for my southern friends, that might seem impossible with you just getting a break from summers heat now, but here in the north the signs are evident! The leaves are falling from the trees, and the rain and winds are bringing in cooler temps, that point to one thing – winter isn’t too far off. Since our landscape gets covered in fluffy white snow, I always like to hang a wreath on my door that will add some green. Whether you like faux or real, I’ve rounded up 27 inspiring wreaths that will last you all winter long.
