Hello friends!! I am on the hunt for some new kitchen bar stools. It’s true, our current Ikea ones have seen better days. And while I’m still contemplating this decision, I’m getting ready to pull the trigger, so I wanted to share some of my thought process with you, and how I go about deciding on things when I’m going to make a decor purchase for our home.
I asked this question on Instagram last week because I had a hunch! There I was sitting one night scrolling through the gram, and it hit me – “I bet everyone has at least one area in their home that they aren’t happy with” I thought to myself. Or at least they weren’t happy with it until they fixed it! You know that problem area that you either over decorate to try and “hide” it, or completely ignore it determined it will always be a non-pretty area in your home, hoping that if you ignore it enough others might not see it too. Recently I took on a small design client. After making the decision two years ago to no longer work with clients, I wondered if I ever would again. Hello Friends! I hope your week is going well! I had the incredible opportunity a weeks ago to travel to Carmel, Indiana to visit the Delta Faucet headquarters, along with 7 other influencers / bloggers. I have to be honest, I really had no idea what to expect on this trip, but was thrilled at the chance to be able to go and visit the Delta Faucet headquarters. What I found, was that this company offers so much more than just faucets- at their core, their first priority is the people, and being at their headquarters felt more like one big family gathering.
You’ve probably maybe only heard me mention it once here on the blog, but if you have visited our house, it’s inevitable I always end up talking about our kitchen floor. I refuse to give it any kind of attention here on the blog, because well, it drives me nuts! Yes, nuts! I didn’t realize at the time we moved in, just how much I would loathe this white tile floor.
