Before there was Pinterest and blogs, if you wanted to see more images of beautiful homes beyond just the snapshots in magazines than you would turn to coffee table books. Recently on Instagram I shared how I had heard about a follower who would gift herself a new coffee table book every year for her birthday and I loved the idea so much I decided to adopt it for myself. I think the hardest part is choosing just one, but that is also the fun part of looking forward to what book to choose for the following year. I glean so much inspiration from coffee table books, that I wanted to share my favorite coffee table books with you as well!
Currently Loving | vol. 8
It’s time for another installment of Currently Loving. Every once and awhile I like to share these “catch-up” posts, where if you and I were to meet over coffee, I would share all the things I’m loving lately! While there really is no rhyme or reason to what I choose, it’s just a random mash-up of the things that have either caught my eye, or I can’t get enough of. With the seasonal change right upon us, it felt fitting to share some of things I’m loving right now as we enter into spring!
Currently Loving vol. 7
Every once in awhile I share this kind of post. A random mash up of all the things I’m loving or crushing on at the moment. While they seem to always have the same flow and feel to them, the things I share in them are completely at random. These posts always end up being my favorite type of posts to share, because I imagine us sitting down, with a nice hot beverage in hand, as we catch up on life and other things 🙂 With the seasonal change right upon us, it felt fitting to share some of things I’m loving right now as we enter into spring!
Currently Loving | vol. 6
I thought it would be fun to share some of the things that I’m currently loving. I’ve shared a few of these posts in the past, and it’s always fun to share some of things that have recently caught my eye, or I find myself not wanting to live without. In no particular order, and without rhyme or reason, here is what I’m currently loving this season.
Currently Loving {vol. 4}
Hello friends! Happy Saturday! I hope your week has been well, and even though everyday can tend to feel like the weekend right now, I hope you are doing something that makes today feel a little special. Maybe it’s making pancakes for breakfast (that’s what we are doing), or going for an extra long walk! Whatever it is, I hope you are being refreshed in this current season of “staying home” that we are in. Today I’m sharing what currently has me swooning, and perhaps it will have you swooning too.

My Favorite Painting App
Hello Friends!! Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! We had a wonderful rainy Sunday, and even though we’ve been home all week, it felt like just the lazy day our souls needed. We lounged on the couch, watched movies, played games together as a family, and just spent time resting together. During one of those lazy lounge sessions on our couch I opened up an app I’ve actually had for a few years now, but found myself completely content within seconds as I started transforming some of my favorite photos into watercolor paintings! So in case you are in the mood for a little watercolor therapy, grab your paint brush … or ummm .. your phone, and check out my favorite painting app!
Coastal Style and a Serena & Lily SALE
Hey Friends! Growing up in New England and 30 minutes from the beach I have always had a strong love for coastal style decor. It’s very reminiscent for me, as it reminds me of summers at the beach, collecting sea shells, and driving up the coast looking at all the pretty houses. Today I’m sharing some of my absolute favorite coastal style decor from Serena & Lily, and it just so happens to be on sale!

The Importance of Knowing Your “WHY”
Do you know your “WHY”? That thing you have inside of you that gets you out of bed in the morning, that causes your attention and efforts to manifest in the way they do? I’m not necessarily talking about purpose here, although that plays a part in it, but knowing your “why” can set you free from the mundane, and reignite the flame to your passions. Today I’m sharing my “WHY”, and how I came to find it… again!
