Hello Friends!! What a week it has been! We have buckled down on some of our first projects we wanted to tackle on the inside of our home, before we unpack decor and hang pictures on the wall, and per usual they have turned out to be a bit more in depth than we anticipated, lol. But that’s how it goes with home projects, so while we work on a few things on the inside, I wanted to show you more of the exterior of our new home.

Flow of Home Tour
Hello Friends!! I’m joining some blogging friends today as we share some different views inside our homes, part of the Flow of Home tour, hosted by Jennifer from Town-&-Country Living. I was so excited to join Jennifer, and the other bloggers, because so many times you just see a snip-it of a room. My Real-Life Fear
Welcoming others into our homes takes a certain amount of vulnerability. And whether you are a seasoned pro or a first time host, inviting others into your “safe-space”, can leave us feeling a little exposed at times. I’ll be honest, I’m nervous of what their first impression might be, what they are thinking as they step into our home, whether it’s for the 1st time or 15th time. Keep reading to find out how I push past the fear of perfection when inviting others into our home….
How I Refresh our Entire House for the New Year
I’ve been sharing this week how our home is currently in “clean state” mode. The last of the Christmas decor bins have been brought down to the basement. I put away any of the throw pillow covers that I used for Christmas, and have found myself in no rush to bring back my everyday decor I had out before Christmas. Sometimes it’s nice to start the new year off with a clean slate visually and mentally in our homes. Not allowing anything to rush us into making decisions too quickly, or decorating for that matter. Nothing that visually clutters our mind, but really just allows us a little breathing room.
Fall Home Tour | 2019
I shared yesterday how this year for fall, it is all about subtle changes. Instead of doing a complete overhaul in our house for fall, I took my time, and added simple fall touches that really spoke to me. I love how calming and relaxed our space feels, and I truly believe that there are no rules when it comes to how you decorate for fall. Decorate for yourself, and what feels good to you, and you can never go wrong.
