Fig & Proscuitto Flatbread Pizza
Happy Friday Friends!! As we head into the long holiday weekend, I wanted to share one of my most favorite go-to summer recipes with you! Fig & Proscuitto flatbread pizza. We make this all summer long, and it’s one of my favorites to make when we have guests over. Even people who have never had it before, or wouldn’t typically pick this as their choice of pizza in a line up of different slices, all confirm that this is now their new favorite! So whether you are hosting a get together this weekend, attending one, or sitting at home, I have a feeling this will be your new favorite too!
Lemon Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting

The Softest Gingerbread Cookies
Today I’m sharing a gingerbread cookie recipe with you, that varies a bit from the recipe we used to make the houses with. You could still eat the gingerbread houses we made as kids, but it was pretty hard. However, this recipe will make the softest gingerbread cookies, and honestly you will have a hard time waiting for them to cool to put the icing on them, and I guarantee you will want to share these with your friends too!
Salted Caramel Apple Cider Margarita
Is your mouth drooling just from that title? Salted Caramel Apple Cider Margarita? Then I’m going to assume if it is we would be friends. Not just friends, but the kind of friends whose mouths start to drool over words like “salted caramel” and “apple cider”, because we get it. And if you aren’t that’s ok, I’m still glad you’re here too! One thing I don’t share that often on the blog is recipe, but friends I am a foodie at heart! And while I don’t always share my passion for food here on the blog, I am the kind of girl who goes into a restaurant and looks at what they are serving for dessert FIRST! Then I will decide on what I am going to eat for my main meal. I bet you also didn’t know that I used to be a bartender?

What’s For Dinner?
Do you dread that question? Nothing hits me more like a ton of bricks than when my kids ask me “what’s for dinner”, and I don’t have an answer. I’ve mentioned before that this season in our life definitely has it’s moments of being “busy”, and I’m told it only increases as we get into those teen years. When my kids were little I really started getting serious about cutting our processed foods, and being conscious of ingredients and what we were eating. But lately with spring sports in full swing, weeknight programs, and work getting busy, I’m finding myself reaching for the box of Annie’s mac & cheese more and more. I once heard the saying that when a creative person gets interrupted it’s like derailing a train, and it takes forever for them to get back on course. I can’t even tell how true that’s been in my own creative business, so when I’m working on a design board or editing photos, and trying to get that one last thing done before the day is over, and I hear “mom, what’s for dinner?” I panic.
Gingerbread Cake + Orange Glaze
Hi Friends! Today I’m sharing with you how I made the gingerbread cake you saw in yesterdays Christmas Kitchen post! You guys this seriously is the best and easiest recipe to have for this holiday season! Because lets face it, we could all use a secret weapon in our back pockets for holiday entertaining. You know that fuss-free, guaranteed to be magical overtime recipe. YEP! Best part is, it’s a box mix. And I have no shame about that. I love making things from scratch, but sometimes mama just ain’t got time for that. And I need something I can grab quickly and know it will be delicious every time.
