Happy Monday! It’s crazy to think that Thanksgiving is this week already! How did the year go by so fast already. I shared in my FB group – Coffee with Bre- on Friday that I’ve narrowed down the feeling that I want my Christmas decor to have this year. Simple. Minimal. Organic. Pulling inspiration from years past, I’m focusing on simple garlands, faux fur, and some chunky knits for added texture. Even though I’ve bought minimal new Christmas decor this year, I’ve still browsed quite a bit, and thought it would be fun to round up some of my favorites, including some of my go-to staples when it comes to decorating for Christmas. Hello friends! Today I’m sharing all the sources from the Spring chapter in my book The Gift of Gathering. This past fall, I shared all the sources from each fall gathering in the book, and while I do have a source list in the back of the book, so many of you loved having a link you could click on to find the source directly as well. You guys know I’m always on the hunt for good home decor, for a great price! And while I love scouring the shelves of HomeGoods and Marshalls for great unique finds, there is nothing like perusing for your favorite home decor from the comfort of your own home. In my last post I broke things down and shared how I add layers into our Living Room decor to create that cozy and inviting feeling you see. I started by removing all the added decor from our Living Room and stripped the room down to the bare essentials. Our sofa and area rug were all that remained. Friends, we are in the final countdown. This is the last full week before Christmas, the last week before the kids are officially on Christmas break, and it’s also the last week to order anything for it to arrive by Christmas! Yikes, I don’t know about you but I certainly feel the pressure to get things done. One thing I have left on my list to do is buy stuff for stockings. I don’t know about you, but instead of filling our stockings with candy, I like to get practical things I use, and if I’m being honest need. I’ll be honest, I do not consider myself a fashion blogger by any means. I mean, the thought of taking all those selfies makes my head spin, and a bit nauseous. I consider my wardrobe pretty basic, I like wearing the same 3 colors, and stick to them. Yet I do get asked quite a bit where certain outfit staples are from, so today I’ve rounded up my favorite winter wardrobe must-haves, especially since this week all the sales begin and I will be added a few pieces to my wardrobe as well.
