You guys know I’m always on the hunt for good home decor, for a great price! And while I love scouring the shelves of HomeGoods and Marshalls for great unique finds, there is nothing like perusing for your favorite home decor from the comfort of your own home. When I’m on the hunt for something, I will spend quite some time going back forth between different online stores to see who has what, and at the better price, but recently there has been one online store I have started checking first – Amazon! And you will not believe what I have found! So today I’m sharing my favorite amazon home decor with all of you!

Hello Friends!! I’m so excited to share todays project with all of you, and I have teamed up with some friends who are also sharing some fun DIY’s today too! Nothing like tackling a project, or working with your hands to beat some of those winter blues away. This is my favorite time of year to do DIY, because it’s too cold to be outside, and with no holidays or upcoming festivities, I can focus on some of those to-do list items I have been pushing off for awhile. I mentioned in yesterdays post how one of the ways I love to add layers into my rooms is by layering area rugs. Now I get that this isn’t always doable at first when you are decorating, because affording one new area rug can be pricey on it’s own. But when looking for areas to add more layers to your spaces this is a great way to achieve that layered look we all desire, without over complicating things. In my last post I broke things down and shared how I add layers into our Living Room decor to create that cozy and inviting feeling you see. I started by removing all the added decor from our Living Room and stripped the room down to the bare essentials. Our sofa and area rug were all that remained. Then I shared step by step how I add pieces back into our living room – layer by layer. So many of the pieces of decor that I have in our living room I consider my home decor staples, so today I’m sharing my favorite home decor staples, that I love to use when adding layers to the rooms in our home.

One of the statements I hear most often regarding our home, is how cozy our living room looks. It truly is my most favorite space in our entire house, and I love how warm and inviting it feels in person too. One look at our couch, and it’s just asking you to come and plop down in between the layers of throw pillows and take a load off. Whenever I’m relaxing in this space I always find myself letting out a big exhale and admiring the room I’ve created. One of the things I believe that is a key contributor in making this space so cozy and inviting are the layers I’ve carefully added over the years. I didn’t realize while I was in the middle of the process, but every time I would analyze what was missing in our living room it would always come back to the layered look I’ve acquired. So today I’m sharing just how I added layers in our living room, and why I think they are key to making any space cozy and inviting.

Hello Friends! I am back today sharing a brand NEW round up of 10 NEW Modern Farmhouse Floor Plans with you today. I shared a round up of my favorite farmhouse floor plans last week from plans I’ve shared in the past in anticipation for the 10 new modern farmhouse floor plans I would be sharing with you today! Honestly, I get so excited looking at floor plans. I love pretending I’m walking through the home as I look through each floor plan, and imagine where I would put furniture, and how I would decorate each space. I guess you could say it’s just one of the creative process’ my brain loves, and it’s fun to come up with new decorating ideas for each floor plan that is different.
