Inspiration for Every Room
I’m so glad that my last post resonated with so many of you! It sparked quite the topic of conversation when I originally asked the question on Instagram, and after reading so many great responses, I knew I wasn’t alone. It’s hard with Pinterest sometimes to feel like our homes don’t always look quite as perfect, or are feeling a little less then “Pinterest – worthy” views, but I believe that even in those perfect homes, there is something the homeowner doesn’t like.
The “Not-So” Perfect Home
I asked this question on Instagram last week because I had a hunch! There I was sitting one night scrolling through the gram, and it hit me – “I bet everyone has at least one area in their home that they aren’t happy with” I thought to myself. Or at least they weren’t happy with it until they fixed it! You know that problem area that you either over decorate to try and “hide” it, or completely ignore it determined it will always be a non-pretty area in your home, hoping that if you ignore it enough others might not see it too. Well the response was resounding, and here’s what people had to say!

Painting Shiplap
Hello friends! I shared a little project I’ve been working on this past month – my husbands NEW office space! We are in the home stretch of this project, and it’s so exciting to see it all starting to come together. As promised, I’m back to share some tips on painting shiplap. While I have done lots of painting before, this was the first time I painted actual shiplap, and wanted to share what I learned with you.
Hubby’s Office Space
Hello Friends! Today I’m excited to share details about a new project I have been working on! The hubby’s NEW office space! I know I’ve never really shared before about what my husband does, other than when his handy skills come into play for a project that we’re working on for around our house. Now I finally get the chance to create a brand new space for him at work, and I’m thrilled with the chance to work on creating a space that isn’t geared towards the home. I’m sharing all the details of the new work space I get to create for my hubby’s new office!
Farmhouse Tour Friday {vol.17}
Hello Friends and Happy Friday!! I feel like every year at the beginning of summer vacation, I feel anxious that the summer will drag, and the days will be filled with statements of “I’m bored”, however every year the summer seems to go by faster and faster, and I find myself secretly wishing for summer to slow down a little bit more. Never mind the fact that by the 2nd week in August, I am craving all things fall and cooler temps. So I’m reminding myself today, as I can’t believe another week of summer has gone by, that soon it will be gone completely, so to savor each day! We are kicking things off today with another Farmhouse Style | Home Tour, and I’m so excited, lets get this party started!
Master Bathroom Design | 3 Ways
Recently I took on a small design client. After making the decision two years ago to no longer work with clients, I wondered if I ever would again. This was a friend of the family, who was renovating an old farmhouse, and needed help coming up with a design plan for their master bathroom. I get it, when you are renovating a whole house, there are a lot of details and decision makings involved, so having a fresh set of eyes help make those choices on style and tile, can really help. While I was creating her design board I realized just how much your design choices can dictate the style of the space. So today I’m sharing a Master Bathroom Design, 3 different ways! Check it out ~
Visiting Delta Faucet
Hello Friends! I hope your week is going well! I had the incredible opportunity a weeks ago to travel to Carmel, Indiana to visit the Delta Faucet headquarters, along with 7 other influencers / bloggers. I have to be honest, I really had no idea what to expect on this trip, but was thrilled at the chance to be able to go and visit the Delta Faucet headquarters. What I found, was that this company offers so much more than just faucets- at their core, their first priority is the people, and being at their headquarters felt more like one big family gathering.
