If you are like me, and don’t live anywhere near Waco, I wanted to share my favorites that could be found at your local Target. Since I’m on my way to visit Magnolia Market for the first time ever today, I thought I would share with you some of my favorite finds from the home decor line – Hearth & Hand.
I was on the hunt for a darker color than what we had. I had painted them Peppercorn by Sherwin Williams the summer before, after previously painting them Tricorn Black. I like them dark, especially when they add contrast to the white siding, but after a year the Peppercorn color that I love in our downstairs bathroom and on our island was looking more gray than blue on our exterior doors. I shared my woes on finding the right navy blue, charcoal gray – ish color in my IG stories, and SO many of you chimed in with suggestions. Like, SOOOOO many of you! And I am so thankful, because I ended up finding a winner!
One of my favorite things to do here on the blog, is share things I’m currently obsessed with, design trends, or just plain ‘ol things that I am loving in the home decor world. So today, I’m doing just that! I’ve been noticing a trend lately in kitchen designs, and while white cabinets still tend to be on fire (which I am perfectly ok with), there is a new(ish) cabinet in town that seems to be making an entrance.

I’m seriously in a bit of shock and awe myself, like please somebody pinch me, can this be a reality, but YES I will be heading to Waco, TX next week to attend Magnolia Markets Silobration event with Kilz brand paint. I seriously cannot believe it, even as I am typing these words, that this small town girl from NH, gets to visit Magnolia Market during the Silobration event, and hang out with my favorite paint line to top things off!!
