Fall Decorating Vignette

09/07/2016 By Bre

Sometimes the feeling of having to decorate your entire house for fall at once can feel daunting. Like this overwhelming task you’d just rather not start. I like to take it one area at a time. When I’m really struggling for motivation, sometimes just creating a simple fall vignette, that will then spill out into the rest of my home and transition my decor from summer to fall. So today I’m sharing a cozy corner from our living room, and easy fall vignette you can create in less than 10 minutes.

I don’t think you have to swap out all of your decor to transition into fall. A few tweaks will subtly start to change the feel of your space.

The starting point for my vignette was this gorgeous “Feather & Fawn” art print from Vol. 25. I loved the neutral color palette in the print. It went perfectly already with the decor in my house. Yet adds a bit of nature which is one of my favorite ways to decorate for fall.

I picked up a large gray frame from Marshall’s that has a slight distressed details, which compliments the rest of the farmhouse vibe in our home.

Once I placed the art print in the frame, I was ready to create my simple vignette. Other than the print, I really only added the mercury glass pumpkin, and fall inspired sprig to my already existing decor.

Adding a plaid throw blanket finished off my cozy corner. I kept with the same neutral colors- gray, white, and wood tones for a cohesive, fuss-free feel for some early fall decorating. Just having this vignette complete is inspiring me to start spreading some more fall decor through out our home.

Thank you so much! I got the throw from Target last year (online), they still have it on their website but it’s out of stock. Here is the link just in case you want to keep your eye on it, it’s only $20 – http://www.target.com/p/plaid-throw/-/A-15753611. They also had some other ones I saw this year I liked that were comparable in price. Have a great day!!
