Last year I attempted to fill my dough bowl with pumpkins and gourds. Well I found out fast just how deep my dough bowl was in that attempt, and not wanting to break the bank this year, I went for larger items this year.
The Pottery Barn books are part of a 5 set that I’ve had for about 8 years, and get moved around constantly because they stack great and provide a nice neutral backdrop. The leaves I grabbed from our yard, and continue to change colors outside, so I envision swapping them up frequently.
I loved it, because to me it is a great reminder for the upcoming holiday season, especially being with family, but as we open our hearts and homes with friends, it’s a reminder to me about what I enjoy most about hosting. Whether for a meal or a stay, to enjoy and cherish our time with one another.
Can’t wait to come back and show you some of the fall swap outs I’ve done in our living room and our kitchen tour showing off it’s new lighter paint color. Until then … Have a wonderful day!
P.S. I’m sharing over at Liz Marie Blog, and there are wonderful other bloggers to visit too!
