2015 sure brought some fun and exciting things in my life regarding this blog and the business that goes with it. It’s been almost 4 years, and even though I still struggle with saying the actual word “blog” (still sounds weird to me) I finally tell people that I have a blog, LOL! I love looking back each year, and reflecting on all that has happened. It always sparks feelings of accomplishment, and even more so gratitude. Because without you here, there really wouldn’t be much of a blog, and so for that I am SUPER grateful! Grateful for this online community, and friends that I’ve made. Grateful for a place I can unload all my design thoughts and ideas into a circle of well receiving friends. This year sure has brought a lot, here are my highlights from 2015!
First off we got a new Look! I changed from Blogspot to WordPress, and got a brand new logo.
Before & After
I’m still head over heels with the logo we had created by Leslie Vega Designs, I basically told her what colors I liked, and she surprised me with the rest!
I shared My Story, on how I stopped listening to lies and started walking in what God created me to do, and the freedom I felt when I finally took those steps, and so many of you responded with similar feelings and stories, and to date it is still my most favorite post. Not because there were beautiful photos of interiors, but because I shared my heart, my true interior, and so many of you could relate, I still tear up when I look back on all the responses. So thank you. Thank you for allowing me to open up with you, and for sharing your heart as well.
A blogging goal for me was to do a Joss & Main curated sales event, and that came true in early 2015!
One of my favorite things to do is watch the subtle changes our living room takes during each season throughout the year. Here are four seasonal looks we’ve had this past year :
Another big highlight this year was being asked to speak at Haven, and meet so so so many of you! You can read all about my experience HERE, but most importantly it was so amazing to put faces to so many beautiful friends I had made online.
We launched our own Curated Collection with Painted Fox, and that was a HUGE dream come true!! Still blows my mind, and to have such a great response from all of you makes it just that much more special!
Another amazing opportunity was being able to team up Lowe’s for their Fall Makeover Campaign!
You can catch the full reveal HERE, but we had so much fun, and what an amazing opportunity to bless one lucky family!
Lastly, a blogging goal I reached this year, was being apart of Jennifer Rizzo’s Holiday Housewalk! It was the perfect end to a super successful year in my book. When I look back on all the highlights it makes it so much easier to forget all the down falls. Life certainly throws us downfalls, and we have many struggles. But when you look back and reflect on all the good, it makes those hard time practically disappear 🙂 I hope you have a safe and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

All so very very exciting – from my point of view, I think you are the definition of a real blogger! I have the HARDEST time ever saying that I am a ‘blogger’ – it is such a weird word / title to claim. Happy New Year – can’t wait to see what 2016 brings!

I love your blog and your highlights from 2015! I just started a blog this year and sometimes it gets frustrating and overwhelming, but bloggers like you have helped me stay the course. I always spend a lot of time looking at your pictures and seeing how I can incorporate some of those ideas into my own home. Thank you so much for following your heart and congratulations on all your successes this year. By the way, I have joined the Listening series too. Can’t wait!!
