If you caught yesterdays post, or follow me on Instagram, then you’ve probably caught wind that I sold our dining room table. Yep! I mentioned it to the hubby in a quick phone call, got the ok, listed it on Facebook and someone came the next day to pick it up! I guess the good news is, with a quick transaction, it leaves no time for second thoughts. I had been contemplating changing things up for over a year now, and I just needed to rip the bandaid off, so to speak. I love our dining room! I love everything in our dining room, but as anyone in our house knows, nothing is safe, and will most likely be changed or moved around at some point. To me home decor is like having different outfits. I have so much fun changing out accessories, or trying new curtains, bringing in new lamps. All of that for me is like trying on a new outfit. I like to online browse a lot! It’s a hobby of mine, that also sometimes turns into a job. So today I’m sharing with you 10 Farmhouse style dining tables that I love, and think you will too.
I think the thing I love most about a good rustic farmhouse table is how they feel. Typically they are long rectangle tables, but not limited too, that set the tone for large gatherings. The weathered wood finish says this table has been loved, by providing a space for many meals, and it’s ok if things get a little messy. They also provide a great space for family board games, or crafts, heck I use mine for any of my sewing projects. It’s the perfect space. I love the look of distressed wood. To me, it gives the impression of a piece that has been around for generations with a great story to tell, even if you just bought it recently. It’s pieces like those that help our home tell a story, regardless of how old the table is, it helps add charm and character to your space.

I remember the drastic change adding our farmhouse table to our dining room made, and I can wait to share with you the new ideas I have for it next.
