Hello Friends!! I hope you are having a great week so far!! In case you missed it yesterday I shared a delicious recipe for a fall cocktail – Salted Caramel Apple Cider Margarita!! You had me at “salted caramel” – YUM! You can find the recipe HERE, and today I’m sharing more of my newest favorite home decor accessory – my bar cart, styled for fall.
To style this bar cart I drew an imaginary X in front of it. I placed matching stacked wooden plates on opposite sides, and then used large scale pieces of nature diagonally across from each other. This helps add symmetry to the overall look, which makes me happy to look at.
On top of the plates I grouped my beverage ingredients on the top, and extra beverage glasses on the plates on the bottom. I filled in the gaps around them with mini white pumpkins, which reinforces the seasonal decor to the bar cart.
I chose to place the larger heirloom pumpkin on the bottom on top of a cake stand to give it some height, and help fill in the space more on the bottom shelf. Sometimes it can be challenging to bridge the spacial gap between the two shelves, so stacking items, or using cake stands is a great way to add height, without it feeling awkward.
First of all, can we just admire this gorgeous heirloom pumpkin? Seriously I think it’s my favorite pumpkin I’ve bought this year. Every year I have one. A pumpkin that just stands out above the rest. I turned last years into a DIY floral centerpiece, and you can see the tutorial HERE.
Since I have this styled to serve drinks, I used stacked wood plates in the place of a tray to corral my drink items. It also helps them stay organized and keeps the overall look of the bar cart look clean.
You can see how I styled my bar cart for summer HERE. And I also rounded up 25 of my favorite bar carts HERE, just in case you happen to be looking for one.

First thing I said, look at that Heirloom pumpkin. They are gorgeous aren’t they. I could bring everyone of them home.
Enjoy the rest of your day

Love it! It’s really appealing to the eye. I’ve never seen an heirloom pumpkin before. Where did you get it if you don’t mind me asking…

I’m trying to remember which place I found it at, because I have 2 weeks that I grabbed all my pumpkins, pretty much any place I saw them, and it’s all a blur, lol! So I got my pumpkins this year from Home Depot, and 2 of my local grocery stores. I know that doesn’t help fully, but also check some greenhouse stores or landscaping places if you have them around 🙂
