Wicker Chairs

One of my favorite ways to add texture to a room is by bringing in a wicker chair. It’s amazing how much the room really comes to life by incorporating a different texture into the space. I love doing this in just about any room, but especially the dining room! I’ve rounded up 15 of my favorite wicker chairs, and I think you will love them too!

When I first really started focusing on turning our dining room into a space that I loved, one of my biggest goals was to get two wicker chairs for the end of our dining room table. I’m definitely more drawn to a “pieced together” look vs. an all matching dining set. To me, it adds so much more character and personality and allows us the chance to let our personal style shine through our decor choices.

I’ve had a variety of different style wicker chairs around our dining room table, and honestly I don’t think I have a favorite. Although the striped wicker (shown below) is pretty close to being my favorite.

To change things up, I like to play musical chairs to give our dining room a different look. Sometimes I’ll place the wicker chairs on both ends, which is currently how I have things, and other times I’ll place our two slipcovered parsons chairs on the ends. In either way, the wicker chairs offer so much character to our dining room, and bring in some texture to the otherwise neutral space.

Whether you like the look of an accent wicker chair, using them as captains chairs at each end of your table, or wrapping your entire table with them, they are a great way to add lots of interest to any room you choose to add them too.
