A New Sign Inspired by the Book!

Hello Friends! I am so excited to share a new piece of decor hanging in our house with you today! A new sign! And not just any sign, this one has such a special meaning, because it’s a quote from my book! Seeing my words displayed in this beautiful artistic way, and the gentle reminder that it brings with it, has my heart overloaded with joy! I’m so excited to share it with you today!

There’s no time to gather like the present. Especially with the upcoming holidays, the cooler temps have me craving warm meals around our table shared with family & friends.

Even when I was a little girl, Thanksgiving was my favorite holiday. More than getting presents at Christmas, I love the time we would spend gathered around the table as a family.

When I was writing the book, I would often think about, childhood memories from holidays past, and Sunday dinners gathered around the table. The legacy my grandmother left, that even though I didn’t always love to set the table, it was important and resembled to others a welcome invitation~

An invitation for more than the meal that was being prepared, a welcome of sorts, letting others know that there is a place for you here. You are invited, and although we will be filling our bellies with food, we will leave full – not just from the food, but from the fellowship as well.

These words were inspired from those experiences, and a longing to not loose the importance of gathering around the table with one another.

Which makes me even more thrilled to now see them made into this beautiful new sign by Between You & Me Signs. I am so excited to be able to share with you this custom sign that they created just to celebrate the release of the book!
