Hi Friend!
Fall is in the air, and boy do I have a fun little makeover to show you! A few weeks back I was browsing through FB Marketplace looking for antique foldable chairs, and stumbled across the cutest little bistro table set! Well, it wasn’t cute at first, but I knew this set had plenty of potential. With a good scrubbing, and some spray paint this bistro set got a completely new look, and it fits perfectly in an empty corner we have on our back porch.

Now in order to fully appreciate this makeover, I have to show you what the bistro table looked like before.
Before –
It was about as green as the grass in our backyard – literally 😛 I grabbed a few cans of Behr’s metallic spray paint in oil rubbed bronze (found HERE), and got to spraying. The bistro set is metal, and had no rust on it, which made giving it a new color a breeze.
After –
I couldn’t be happier with the result, and the set fits perfectly in this corner of our back porch.
With the addition of a few pumpkins and some of the prettiest mums I think I’ve ever seen, our back porch is now ready for fall, and I have a new favorite spot to sit and soak in the view.
I love having a throw blanket, or in this case oversized scarf, nearby for those crisp autumn mornings, or cool evenings to curl up in while I’m sipping my coffee.

I love it! I also loved the green lol! But the darker color definitely suits your style better. Those bistro sets are so cute and versatile. I had a post come into my email about a floral arrangement you made from some funky Trader Joe’s dried flowers. I loved it but I’ve never seen the flowers before and I work at your local TJ’s. I must have missed them. Maybe one day I’ll recognize you when you come in shopping 🙂

I didn’t see the Banksia this year, but I did see some of the pods, and other dried things I used in the arrangement when I was in last week 🙂 Hope to run into you soon 🙂
So pretty, Bre. I love the mums and pumpkins not to mention the bistro set which is much improved by being painted. I also like the big pot of dark reddish grass. Do you know what it is called?
I did not know Behr makes spray paint. Just bought another brand to spray paint my mailbox. Love the cozy porch look and I will be going to get some pumpkins like yours. Thanks for showing us, looks like a beautiful view.
