Hello friends! Happy Saturday! I hope your week has been well, and even though everyday can tend to feel like the weekend right now, I hope you are doing something that makes today feel a little special. Maybe it’s making pancakes for breakfast (that’s what we are doing), or going for an extra long walk! Whatever it is, I hope you are being refreshed in this current season of “staying home” that we are in. Today I’m sharing what currently has me swooning, and perhaps it will have you swooning too.

Hello Friends!! How are you holding up so far? The weather has started to turn where we are, and it feels more or more like spring everyday! We’ve been enjoying longer walks, playing outside in the yard, and of course feeling the warm sunshine again! Hello Friends! We are just about wrapping up week 3 of the kids being home from school, and social distancing, and I’m happy to report that the project bug has finally started to kick in. When everything happened, I wondered how long it would take before these four walls around us would start staring back at me, waiting for me to tackle a project. I find myself looking around our house with “projects to tackle” in mind. I’ve been thinking about doing this particular project for awhile, and now seems like the right time to tackle it, so today I’m sharing my ideas on refreshing our staircase.

Hello Friends!! Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! We had a wonderful rainy Sunday, and even though we’ve been home all week, it felt like just the lazy day our souls needed. We lounged on the couch, watched movies, played games together as a family, and just spent time resting together. During one of those lazy lounge sessions on our couch I opened up an app I’ve actually had for a few years now, but found myself completely content within seconds as I started transforming some of my favorite photos into watercolor paintings! So in case you are in the mood for a little watercolor therapy, grab your paint brush … or ummm .. your phone, and check out my favorite painting app!

Hello Friends! Today I’m pretending like you and I are sitting down with a cup of coffee. I’d say on my couch in my living room, but since we are all supposed to be social distancing right now I’m thinking that would be considered taboo? So we are just going to have a virtual cup of coffee together instead, and I’m going to imagine we are chatting just like I would be with my closest gal-pal about all the struggles of being home right now, and what I’m doing to stay sane.
