I shared earlier this week that it was 6 years ago on March 28th that we signed on our first home! To celebrate that milestone I'm sharing how different rooms in our house have progressed over the past 6 years. Dining Room Progression

I shared yesterday that 6 years ago to the day, we closed on our first home! It was such an exciting time in our lives, we were finally going to own our home, and I couldn't wait to put my signature on it. When we first moved in pretty much every room in the house was yellow. We were in our sixth year of marriage so other than our IKEA living room furniture we had purchased a few years prior, the rest of our belongings were typical newlywed hand-me-downs. Celebrating Milestones

Six years ago today my husband and I did our 4th serious grown-up accomplishment. We sat down and signed away what felt like our life, and some of the scariest documents we had ever seen, but what turned out to be one of the most exciting things we did together. Although it was extremely intimidating and there were moments that felt like this was never going to happen, on March 28th, 2011, only 10 weeks after the birth of our second child, we bought our first house. Bathroom Reno: Part 2

We are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to our bathroom reno. It felt like every step of the way we hit an obstacle. I guess that is to be expected in any renovation, especially when your house is almost 200 years old.
