DIY Grainsack Pillows
For those of you who don't know what a grain sack pillow is, or aren't familiar with them, allow me to introduce you :) This ... is a grain sack pillow: They're usually made with vintage burlap sacks used by european farmers that have either red or blue died yarn going down the middle of it. DIY Pallet American Flag
Yesterday I did a short post for memorial day, with a few pictures of ourDIY Pallet American Flag.Today I'll give you a little behind the scenes lookon how it all came together. This was a pretty easy project, once the pallet was taken apart.I let Jesse take care of that part, because once a hammer wouldn't cut it,and the crow bar had to come out, I knew there was little more elbow grease involved than I could give.It was not as easy as it sounded,BUT,it did come apart, after a little sweat and muscles :)Once apart, I lined the pieces of wood upto start painting.I chose to paint them before assembling so the I could paint the sides of the boards as well.I decided to start with ...
